Outing to Botanics Garden

It was a fine 9th of August morning and we decided to bring Dazzle to The Botanics Garden for a walk.

Dazzle's stamina for walking has built up quite a little. She can walk long distances with us now but refuses to run much.

Dazzle was all excited and ready to GO!!

So, we made our way towards the Botany Centre...

A cute little bird caught my attention...

She thought she was on a treasure hunt and found the next clue...

What are those 2 people inside the pavilion doing??

...and its time to go home...

The long weekend's over. Dazzle will have to contend with spending the whole day herself while we're off to work.

Can't wait for the next weekend to come.

Enzo's 1st birthday bash!

Finally, some time to update with this very belated post!!!

Its Enzo Kor Kor's 1st birthday! How can Dazzle miss the birthday party of the year right?

Thanks to Enzo and his siblings invitation, Dazzle got this rare chance to mingle with other dogs and have lots of fun!

Dazzle even prepared a little gift for Enzo.

Dazzle met Enzo outside the cafe at K9 Campus

Being the one of the very few non-Sheltie at the gathering did have its priviledges. Dazzle was given lots of attention by everyone made and many Sheltie friends. Dazzle must've been wondering why are there so many "Enzos'' around.

Dazzle had a great time running around with Enzo. And Enzo was really FAST!!

Dazzle on TURBO mode (check out the aerodynamic ears!!)
That's me joining in the fun...

Dazzle charging up the hill to the playground...

Somewhere along the line, i think they quarrelled...

Enzo getting ears twisted... must've been naughty... haha...

MX teaching Enzo to jump over the barrier. Let's show Dazzle how its done and impress her!!!

OK I think Dazzle's not looking.....

Voila!! I'm over the barrier!!!
Its time for cake!
Dazzle made many new friends.
Can't bear to go home...
Do we really have to leave??
That's it. Lets drink up and go home...

Dazzle was so tired that she slept for almost 2 full days.

Finally, some updates for you.. :)

Many of you have been asking me, when will I be updating Dazzle's blog. Well, I had been busy with things recently, work, family, home etc...

OK i admit, i was lazy...

Just took some pictures of Dazzle recently and realised that Dazzle has grown quite a bit. She's almost 7kg now, compared to the 2kg puppy that we brought home almost 6months ago, she's grown... quite a bit.

Looking back, its been just 6 months but it seems we're inseperable. She's with us every minute when we're at home, we just can't imagine a home without her now.

That is WHEN WE ARE AT HOME. What happens when we're not?

Recently, Dazzle's been a little destructive at home. She's rather adept at returning floor mats and cloths into its thread form.

And, i think she doesn't like zippers. We returned home one day to find ALL zippers missing from every single cushion on our sofa. Actually, one survived, but it was extremely dented.

Mind you, this zipper was red in color.

I couldn't find a perfect looking zipper to compare with. We were soooo worried that Dazzle swallowed the zippers, which i think she did. She didn't seem to have any problems so i guess the zippers probably went down well with her.

She's as inquisitive as ever now. Apart from loving to thread-ify cloths, she's been an angel. Very affectionate and never makes toileting mistakes.

Here are some recent pictures. She's grown up!

Totally flattened

Today, we brought Dazzle to the field opposite our place for a 2.4km run. Well, as expected, she didn't have much stamina to even run 2.4 metres.

She was stopping for water breaks every few steps and it took us a very long time to get her to walk.

Finally, we decided to head home after just barely 800m of walking.

This is Dazzle totally flattened with legs wide open in front of the fan when she reached home:

Its been a long time

Its been a while since i've last updated this blog. I had been busy with national service and some work commitments.

Anyway, FINALLY, i've had the chance to spend quality time with Dazzle and took some pictures for this post.

We brought Dazzle to the Botanics Garden yesterday morning. Somehow, i think we've fed her too much. She's as lazy as a log, lies flat on the ground after just a few steps.. i think we need to bring her out much more often to build up her stamina.

This is Dazzle getting a good scolding for playing with sand on the ground:

Dazzle's twin sister

Looks like we have a smart reply on my previous post! Yes, indeed its Dazzle's twin sister, Angel.

Dazzle and Angel, Dazzle, Angel, Dazzle, Angel, Dazzle, Angel, Devil, Angel... hey it rhymes..

When the two of them are together, Dazzle instantly takes on her Devil role and is extremely territorial.

Anyway, Dazzle x2 is also = Mess x2.

When there is competition, neither of them is eating from the same bowl. Which meals dinner has to be quickly removed from the bowl and eaten at their own private corner, on the floor.
